Meyer Lemon

The Meyer Lemon is a cross between a traditional lemon and a mandarin orange. It is less acidic and significantly sweeter than store-bought lemons, with a complex, floral flavor profile that chefs love. In Southern California, a mature Meyer Lemon tree will produce fragrant blossoms and ripe fruit almost continuously throughout the year. It is relatively compact, making it an excellent choice for large pots or smaller gardens.
